Subjects, Classes & Calendar
How to organise your tuition centre's subjects, create class schedules, and use the calendar.
Subjects
Adding a Subject
- Go to Subjects → click Add Subject.
- Fill in:

| Default Teacher | No | Assign a staff member as the default teacher |
| Monthly Fee | No | Fee in RM (used when generating invoices) |
- Click Save.
Subject Cards
Subjects appear as cards showing:
- Name and description
- Assigned teacher
- Number of schedule slots
- Number of enrolled students
Subject Profile Page
Click a subject card to see:
- Subject info and teacher
- Schedule Slots -- class time slots with day and time
- Enrolled Students -- list with links to student profiles
From the profile you can:
- Edit subject details
- Manage student enrolments
- Delete the subject
Enrolling Students
Go to the student's profile, click Enrol in Subject, and pick the subject. You can set a custom monthly fee for that enrolment.
Classes (Schedule Slots)
A class slot is a scheduled time for a subject. Each subject can have multiple slots (e.g. Monday 3pm and Wednesday 3pm).
Creating a Class Slot
- Go to Classes → click Add Class.
- Fill in:

| Schedule Type | Yes | Weekly (Repeats) or One-Time |
| Day of Week | For weekly | e.g. Monday, Tuesday |
| Date | For one-time | Specific date for the session |
| Start Time | Yes | e.g. 09:00 |
| End Time | Yes | e.g. 10:30 |
- Click Save.
Editing & Cancelling Classes
From the class table:
- Edit -- change day, time, or details
- Cancel a Date -- cancel a specific date without removing the slot (handy for holidays)
- Delete -- remove the slot entirely
Calendar
- Go to Calendar.
- See a monthly view with all your class slots mapped to their days.
- Cancelled dates are hidden.
- Click any slot to go straight to the attendance page for that class and date.
- Today's date is highlighted.
